Three steps, and the third one happens in your own cluster.
Everything starts with an account: it is where your keys live, where a plan is bought or cancelled, and where the cluster quota you are using is visible. There is no separate portal to learn and nothing to install before you have a key.

How it works
One. Create the account with an e-mail address you can receive at. The licence key and anything that follows go to that address, so a shared team inbox is usually a better choice than a personal one.
Two. Choose an edition on the pricing page and take a key. Community Edition asks for no card. Paid plans start a 30-day trial of the full feature set and the first charge falls on day 31, which the billing page sets out in full.
Three. Install the chart and enter the key. The key binds to the cluster's fingerprint on activation, and from that point enforcement runs locally: the admission decision does not wait on us. What the daily check does send is described on the licensing page.
Community Edition
Community Edition costs nothing and always will. It needs a key like every other edition, and that key is free. It is a real edition rather than a countdown: nothing expires, no card is asked for, and the enforcement path is the same one the paid editions use.
Paid plans
Paid editions are sold annually and the difference between them is cluster quota and the features listed on the pricing page. A plan can be changed or cancelled from the account without talking to anyone; what happens to the remainder of a paid term is on the billing page.
Where this stands
Attestkeep has not shipped yet. Accounts open with the first release, and this page becomes the form that opens them. Until then there is nothing to sign up for, and we would rather say so here than collect an address for a product that has no release date to give you.
